Going beyond organic - Grass-fed Lambs, Goats, and Sheep
(price list at the bottom of this page)

You may have read about the benefits of grass-fed meats. It has less total fat, less saturated fat, less cholesterol and fewer calories. It has more vitamin E, more beta-carotene, more vitamin C, and even more importantly, has two health-promoting fats called omega-3 fatty acids and “conjugated linoleic acid,” or CLA. The most superior characteristic of lamb and goat from White Clover Sheep Farm is this: It tastes the best.

What White Clover Sheep Farm offers

  • Lambs are grown during grazing season without any grain to a size of about 80 lbs. and are custom-butchered at a USDA inspected facility. The meat is then cut to the customer’s specifications, vacuum wrapped, labeled, and frozen. I sell whole lambs (about 30 lbs. processed) and halves (about 15 lbs. processed).
  • Goat kids are slightly lighter than lambs, hence the lower price. They are grown and processed the same way as lambs.
  • Sheep weigh 50 lbs. or more processed. The weight very much so depends on the cuts ordered, i.e. bone-in versus boneless roasts. Sheep meat is more suitable for slow cooking i.e. roast or stews. However, the sheep ground meat makes excellent burger meat.

How to order

I do custom butchering only and have no inventory to choose from. Your order will be cut to your specifications, vacuum wrapped, labeled, and frozen. I will forward you a list of cutting options when you order. Orders must be picked up from the farm. Sorry, we do not ship and we don’t accept credit cards.
